Yuni Shara was born as Wahyu Budi Setyaning in Malang, East Java, June 3, 1972, age 39 years, is an artist (singer) Indonesia. He is the older brother of Kris Kristofferson.

Since childhood, Yuni Shara love to sing. Yuni Shara often followed the race since attending elementary school. When the elementary school, Yuni moved to Jakarta. The opportunity came in 1987, when Yuni was in high school, following the Star Radio and Television Festival that included adolescents aged 15 years. Yuni II won thanks to his father's upbringing keroncong results. Two years later, Yuni follow again the same festival and won the I. Yuni's also got a record deal with other singers who joined in the Billboard All Stars.

Yuni Shara's first album was released in 1990 entitled Love Again. This album makes Yuni Shara pretty well known, although the album did not explode. 1991 Yuni follow the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland as a backing vocalist with the band Bhaskara Irma June. That same year, released a second album "Lost Yuni Permataku". Recycling the first album did extremely well in the market.

One year later, Yuni Shara try again issued a third album titled awkwardly (1992). Unfortunately, this album is somewhat failed in the market. And a new song that was brought was created by the Marcels. Then Yuni Shara appears again with the album I Believe (1993) and Letter of Invitation (1994), which is recycled. Album is to repeat the success of recycling his first album.

His career peaked when the album Why No Excuse was released in 1995. The album sold 1.5 million copies and received 4 platinum from BASF. In the same year, Yuni serial silat released soundtrack album Return of The Condor Heroes and re-acquire 3 pieces of platinum from BASF. So, during 1995, Yuni won seven platinum from BASF.

Yuni Shara's latest album is 35 which was released to coincide with a book about himself, 35 Cups Coffee Yuni Shara on the anniversary of the 35th, dated June 3, 2007. The book was written by Tamara Geraldine, who collaborated with the Dervishes Triadi.

Among the nine songs that carried Yuni, there is only one new song, entitled "Lonely". The song was created musician Joey Ayala.
